"This early release from the Private Screening Collection is a mixed bag. Lady Libertine (also known to some viewers as Frank And I) receives a full-screen transfer here: the 1.33:1 image suits the material fine since it was shot for television and the print source is pretty decent despite some speckling. Unfortunately, the video tends to get a bit grainy during night sequences and this can get annoying. The audio portion of the disc sticks to the original mono mix for the film and it sounds fine. There are no extras included on the disc, not even a trailer. On the good side, this disc offers Lady Libertine uncut on DVD for the first time ever. On the bad side, the transfer is mediocre and the disc's lack of extras really stings given its high retail price. Thus, a viewer's interest in Lady Libertine as a film will have to determine whether or not this disc is worth a purchase for them."
