This particularly cheerful collection of Elmo's World episodes explores three subjects that brighten everyone's world. Elmo elicits a little help from his friends to extol the virtues of friendship, singing, and dancing. Live-action footage of multicultural and multi-ethnic children, Muppet segments, and animated and musical vignettes explore each topic. Mr. Noodle (Bill Irwin), his brother, Mr. Noodle (the late Michael Jeter), and their sister, Miss Noodle (Kristen Chenoweth) demonstrate how friends take turns. Elmo's Sesame Street buddies Big Bird and Snuffleupagus, meanwhile, have an argument that reassuringly demonstrates how good friends can disagree sometimes. Elmo also gets into the act by singing and dancing in a variety of styles, from opera and flamenco to rock 'n' roll and rap. It's Elmo's indefatigably upbeat attitude and inclusive worldview that makes this World go round.
