"The theatrically released feature version of this once-popular science fiction television series gets an upgraded release on DVD. Battlestar Galactica has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has been enhanced for anamorphic playback on widescreen monitors. Viewers have a choice of the original English soundtrack or a dubbed French-language version, both mastered in Dolby Digital Mono. The film is also closed-captioned in English, and bonus features include biographies of the key cast and crew members and notes on the production of the show."
