Overview

Life was easy when Gavin Stone (Brett Dalton) was a child star, yet adulthood is proving more difficult. After an arrest and community-service sentence, the struggling actor fakes being a Christian just so he can bamboozle a megachurch into giving him the lead in their spectacular Easter passion play. But taking on the role of Jesus Christ leads to a spiritual journey he never expected. Directed by Dallas Jenkins, who also founded the Christian production company Vertical Church Films.
