"Randall Wallace's action film The Man in the Iron Mask comes to DVD with a choice of images. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and is preferable to the standard full-frame transfer. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. In addition to a director's commentary track, the disc contains the theatrical trailer, alternate versions of the titular mask, and a collectible booklet. This is a very good disc, made all the more appealing thanks to its inexpensive list price."
