Overview

In this western, a veteran Yankee solder travels back to his Texas ranch at the end of the war. There he finds himself unwelcome as his neighbors all sided with the Confederacy. Matters are not helped when a government sponsored carpetbagger misuses his power to tax the ranchers out of their property.
