The Teatro Real in Madrid mounted this production of Georg Friedrich Handel's 1724 opera +Tamerlano in 2008, starring Pl?cido Domingo as Bajazet, Monica Bacelli as Tamerlano and Ingela Bohlin as Asteria. Graham Vick directs for the stage, with musical accompaniment by the Orchestra of the Teatro Real/Madrid Symphony Orchestra; Paul McCreesh serves as musical director. Ron Howell did the choreography.
