"This box set combines three films by the always controversial, politically-charged feminist director Lina Wertmüller. First on the bill is one of her many collaborations with favorite leading man Giancarlo Giannini, 1973's Love & Anarchy, about a yokel who intends to assassinate Mussolini but gets distracted by the goings-on in a brothel. Next up is 1972's The Seduction of Mimi, with Giannini as a obstreperous working-class fellow who moves to the big city and gets into political and erotic trouble. Finally, 1974's trenchant satire All Screwed Up concerns a bunch of young people from the countryside who try communal living in Milan to combat the oppression of urban existence."
