There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette, an interview of Burns by Charlie Rose, and a featurette concerning the working methods of the documentarian. This is a great release for any history enthusiast, and may well be of use to teachers in a classroom setting.
