As produced by Henry Hampton via Blackside and originally broadcast in 1987 via PBS, the TV documentary series Eyes on the Prize incisively chronicles the struggle for civil rights in America's South, spanning the years 1954-1965. The program bore a unique angle in filtering the broader social context through the compelling human-interest stories of individual lives. This set features the entire series as it originally aired. As a special bonus feature, it also includes an interview with Henry Hampton.
