Overview

In 1997, The Bee Gees were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and played their first American concert in ten years at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. One Night Only records that special show, in which the Brothers Gibb perform their biggest hits from the '60s to the '90s, as well as songs they wrote and produced for others (including "Guilty," "Islands in the Stream," and "Heartbreaker"). The video also includes a tribute to their late brother Andy Gibb and a new tune, "Immortality," with guest vocalist Celine Dion.

The Bee Gees' One Night Only captures the group in a 1997 one-off show at Las Vegas' MGM Grand. In their first Stateside show in nearly a decade, the Brothers Gibb perform their own classic hits -- "You Should Be Dancing," "I've Gotta Get a Message to You," "Massachusetts," "Lonely Days," and "Stayin' Alive" among them -- as well as pop classics like "Islands in the Stream," "Guilty" and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart." The Gibbs perform with their late brother Andy on "Our Love (Don't Throw It Away)" and Celine Dion also makes a special guest appearance. Though the disc doesn't offer much in the way of DVD extras, devoted fans will want to upgrade their collection with this disc, if only for its crystal-clear sound. ~ Heather Phares
