A gifted statesman ultimately done in by a trio of fatal flaws including arrogance, stubbornness, and off-putting candor, Alexander Hamilton made a stunning ascent to power before his career was marred by scandal and tragedy. Regardless of his personal peccadillos, however, Hamilton's impressive legacy continues to live on over two centuries after his untimely death. In this documentary, history buffs can find out just how the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury helped to transform a struggling young republic into an industrialized nation with the power to compete on a global level.
