About The Author

Brian Herbert (1947) is an American author and son of the science fiction writer Frank Herbert. He is best known for his collaborations with Kevin J. Anderson. The two have written a number of prequels to Frank Herbert’s landmark 1965 novel Dune as well as two sequels based on an outline and notes left behind by Frank Herbert. In 2003 Brian Herbert wrote a biography of his father Dreamer of Dune.
