Overview

Henry Crosson is only sixteen years old, but his entire life has just been turned upside down. After a tragic accident, his uncle Milton sends Henry to live at Drury Manor, a mysterious estate run by the eccentric Esau Drury. Almost immediately, Henry begins to suspect that things are not right in the cavernous old house. Esau's young son keeps speaking of the ghosts of dead orphans, even as the pitter patter of little feet keeps Henry up at night. A disembodied voice calls to him from the bottom of an old well. The elderly maid knows a little too much about him and his family. As the pieces begin to come together, Henry realizes that perhaps it was not an accident that drove him to Drury Manor after all. It seems an evil, ancient presence lurks there. And it has been waiting for him.

About the Author

George Esler knew he wanted to be an author from the time he was old enough to hold a pencil. As a child, he drew comic books on tiny notepads and gave them to his mom to read. As he grew, he tried his hand in everything from superhero stories, to slasher horror, to science fiction and fantasy. If it had magic, superpowers, or a masked killer, George was all over it.

In 2012, after a lengthy hiatus from writing, George decided to get serious again about his craft. In April of that year, he began working on the first draft of a book that would go on to become “Line of Sight.” George’s deepest passion in writing is to use the power of the written word to create fictional worlds that he can share with others, who then get to live and eat and breathe and play in these places that once existed only in his own imagination.

George was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he lives with his beautiful wife and his two adorable daughters, who outnumber him 3-to-1.
