This is Early Access to my Black-American family drama series, Drucilla's Epiphany, and will only include
chapters 1-5. The book hasn't been released yet and content is subject to change. This Early Access aims
to get honest feedback and give readers a taste of the story. Books 1-3 are planned by August
2024, and the 4th book by the end of 2025.

Mai Ann Kane, a Black-American woman, started the first American non-segregated chicken and waffles
soul food restaurant, "Mai Ann's Chicken & Waffles," with her husband, Gregory Kane, in 1954 in the
fictional black community-turned-city of Freemont, Georgia, during the Jim Crow era.
Book 1 begins in 2006 through the eyes of Mai Ann's estranged granddaughter, Drucilla Kane (nee Jackson),
whom Mai Ann hasn't seen or spoken to in five years due to a major falling out following her late son's
death. Drucilla is a stripper known by her stage name, Hipnotica, and is the Ringmaster [aka top-earner]
at a strip club called Club Circus. Drucilla leaves San Gria, Nevada, and her life of luxury
in determination to restore Mai Ann's house and restaurant to its former legacy in Everton, Texas.
Note: Everything, including all characters, places, and events, unless otherwise stated, is a work of fiction
ruminated from the mind of Dr. Porsha White, DD. Read the real vs. fake section in the book to learn
what is real and what is fictional. All real places and/or events were used in a fictional manner.
