Robert Farmer has been a follower of Christ since 1975. He is also a retired Marine Corps Band Officer/Conductor. Following retirement from the Marine Corps in 2002, he served for nine years as Associate Minister of Music, Spotswood Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, VA as the Orchestra Director. Robert currently lives in Evans, GA, near Augusta.

He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in performance (trombone) from Delta State University, Cleveland, MS, (1978), and a Master of Arts (composition) from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA (1994). He is married to the former Pamela Mosley of Cleveland, Mississippi. They have two interesting children: Carla and Robert, and three even more interesting grandchildren, Braden, Ainsley, and Jace. He keeps busy as an author, composer/arranger, and handyman-at-large. In his own words, “I seek nothing more than to honor God with the gifts He has given me.”
