Driven

Driven – by need, greed, lust, curiosity... An uptight wealthy young woman is none too thrilled when the driver, security expert the agency sends is not quite what she ordered, including being a woman. Despite their cool disregard for one another some kind of something is in the air. Fun w/w romp full of suggestion, but ultimately a romantic play on the notion that different worlds may collide, but also might have something to offer one another. Queer sexual suggestiveness, nothing graphic. Some hints at nudity.
Hint:
As we step into a nice, hip, shiny kind of spot I arc toward my usual waiting area. “Why do you automatically head for the bar?”

“Close, but not too close. If it’s not a 1 on 1 assignment, I just need to keep an eye out. So I pick a place where I can watch, but at a reasonable distance.”
Lowering her shades to glance over them, those blue eyes sparkle, “you like to watch?”

“I get paid to watch.”

There is a slight curve to her lips, but far less than a smile. “Clever.” Half a beat later, “today I think I’ll join you.” Surprised, I look over. “I’m not meeting anyone and I wonder what it’s like, watching.”

Making sure she sits at the corner, protected. “If you are over here, there’s no one to watch.”

Settling herself she gazes around the room, “then we’ll pick someone. You can show me how it’s done.”

About the Author

Finding the human condition and our antics endlessly fascinating, I tend to write ‘slice of life’ pieces about moments, situations, interactions, personalities – most often with some amount of humor or irony, always with wonder. The subject or subjects are frequently lgbt, w/w, though that doesn’t always matter since people are people, stories are stories.
