Traveling through the ruins of Civitas Apex, what was once the greatest city in the world, he searches for a gate to set himself free. But a scorch-touched mind can't always tell the difference between truth and illusions. "...I knew of the Greenspark before it fell..." Loran was never touched by the scorch. Clairvoyance saved her from the Greenspark, but she was unable to convince the world. Returning from safety, she hunts among the ashes for the reason why the world had to burn.
