About the Author

Hi!
My name is Jessica Molyneux, I am an illustrator, artist, author and teaching assistant based in the UK. My Story
For as long as I can remember I have always been creating art in some form or another, whether it be through painting, drawing, sewing or sculpture, I have always liked to bounce between and see where it could lead. This led to a degree within this field in painting, drawing and printmaking, and using later using these skills when working with small children in primary schools.

However, my love for art has always gone hand in hand with my love for nature and wildlife, and I have previously volunteered in a Devon Zoo where I became inspired by so many different animals and, perhaps most of all, my sister Lorraine, a Zookeeper. When my sister asked me to illustrate her wonderful children’s stories, combining my love of animals, art and child education into one project, I couldn’t think of anything better!

From that first book I have launched full steam ahead into the world of children's book illustration and digital art and I enjoy every moment of creating beautiful artwork for great stories.
