About the Author

Bettye DeLoach Presley is a native of southeast Arkansas. She spent forty-three years of her life in the noblest of all professions and retired first in June, 1991 and again in November, 2011. Of all literary genres, poetry is her favorite. Her love of poetry prompted her to begin writing poems in the early 90's. In 2006, she co-authored Guaranteed to Cut&Soothe, her first attempt at publishing some of her poems. Though poetry is her favorite, she has not been limited to writing poetry only. She is also the author of two children's books, King Not's Powers and King Not's Sleepover Books 1&2 of the King Not Series which she began writing in 2009.
