About the Author

David Alderton is known internationally for his books about dogs and their care. He has been awarded the Maxwell Medallion by the Dog Writers Association of America for his work, and he regularly contributes to radio and television broadcasts in the United Kingdom and throughout the world.
 

Bruce Fogle is a practicing veterinarian and a best-selling author. Raised and educated in Canada, since 1970 he has practiced in London, where he set up Europe’s first emergency veterinary clinic and founded the charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. For his services both to dogs and to the disabled, Queen Elizabeth II awarded him the honor of Member of the Order of the British Empire.
