Do You Understand What You Are Reading?
What is the essence of Christianity? How does the Christian Faith relate to the Jewish Faith? How do we understand and interpret the New Testament (= NT)? Are there any principles and rules as well as tools which can guide us, so that we can understand the NT as it was intended?

Is the NT passé and out of date, as some think, who compare it with the world view of Egypt and Mesopotamia 2000 years B.C.? The Author produces concrete evidence that the Greek world view that the NT shares, was quite modern, laying the foundation for all modern sciences. The supposed conflict between science and Faith is a myth!

The author's insights into the language and culture of the NT offer the reader a unique possibility for a fuller understanding of the NT.

The reader is offered all the help he/she needs with many examples of how to go about in order to understand the NT in depth.
