Overview

The Spiegel Grove has a wealth of opportunity for great diving. Not only because it is an icon of Key Largo, it’s just plain fun, sprinkled with a bit of a challenge at times. I have been on the Spiegel in a wide variety of conditions... less than 30 feet of visibility, with loads of current, to clear 80-plus visibility days when you can drop down, instead of pulling yourself down, to the wreck.

Tim is based in Key Largo, Florida. He wrote the scuba diving column for the local newspaper, The Reporter, for over three years, and also served as a Working Group member and Alternate Representative on the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council.
