This first edition of Divine Poems From Above brings messages from our creator in heaven to those who are on this earthly journey called life. The poems in this book are recorded to deliver to humanity words from God's Kingdom, the Kingdom of Light. The words in these poems are designed to teach, inspire, encourage, empower, validate, correct, heal, motivate, and promote true freedom. "Let the morning bring me Word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." (Psalm 143:8). The poems in this book were written between 2006 and 2020. The majority of them were written during the six years while I served as a missionary pastor in Jamaica from 2006 to 2011. When inspired words came, I had to stop and record them. A few poems come from some of the painful experiences I have faced in life. Others come from special people whom I have met on the journey. I believe every reader will find messages that are applicable to their life. Also included are a few poems from other writers in the last section of the book.

About the Author

Dr. Armada C. Pinkins is currently working as an author, life coach, an educator, and a real estate investor. She is an ordained minister who is serving as the Senior Pastor of the International Church of Destiny, which she has recently started. Dr. Pinkins has served as a pastor and a missionary in Gambia, West Africa, and Jamaica, West Indies. Her travels have taken her to eleven countries across four continents. She loves God and the diverse people of the world. Dr. Pinkins’ life’s passion is helping and serving others to reach their fullest God-given potential and fulfill their destiny.
She has taught English to immigrants from over 55 different nations in colleges, businesses, and community education programs. Dr. Pinkins is a passionate educator who is able to ignite a desire and confidence in her students, which enables them to make significant achievements in learning English and to become life-long learners.
