About the Author

Megan Roth has edited and written a variety of content from award-winning apps and interactive products to children's board books and chapter books. She is originally from Pennsylvania, where she earned her degree in literature, film, and women's studies from the University of Pittsburgh.

Marcela Cespedes-Alicea was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, and holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Universidad Autonoma de Occidente. She left the Salsa Capital of the World (the dance, not the chips) in 2012 to come to the U.S. to pursue an illustration MFA after working in advertising for a while. She's always been a kid at heart and has a strong passion for drawing and comic books. She now lives in Orange County, California, with her husband and illustrates children's books in her PJs.
