Sometimes when negative words are spoken over children, those words becomes their identity and they begin to see themselves that way. Although that is not God’s will for their life, they receive those words into their heart. You see, faith comes by hearing, he didn’t say who you had to hear it from, and the enemy use those words to destroy their life. They may end up in jail, on drugs or have no regard for life and it started with words that were spoken over them by people who were close to them. Those negative words that were spoken over you as a child or growing up were ultimately meant to destroy you, and the way they become destructive is when you allow what people have said about you to become your identity instead of what your Heavenly Father have said about you. I pray that as you read this book that the eyes of your understanding of who you are in Christ will be enlightened and that you will learn and come to experience how much God love you and what Jesus went through for you to be identified with him.
