About the Author

ANUPAMA CHANDRASEKHAR graduated from the College of Communications in her native Chennai (formerly Madras) in southern India. As a playwright, she was discovered and developed by the Royal Court’s International Department and attended the International Residency for Young Playwrights. She made her British debut with Free Outgoing, which opened at the Royal Court in 2007, transferring to the main stage in 2008. She lives in Chennai.
