This is a story about Mr. Nichols and his beloved constant companion, a Maine Coon cat by the name of Dipsey Doodle. Mr. Nichols was a lonely old man, so he moved from the country to be closer to his children. Since he was still lonely after moving to the city, he picked up an old hobby of oil painting and started painting his vivid memories. About the Author

This is first in a series of children's books for Monica. She is a freelance writer and a retired teacher. Originally from Michigan, she chose her first children's book setting to be in the state she was born and raised. Presently, Monica lives in the Upstate of South Carolina and still does freelance writing and volunteers her time at the children's hospital.
