About the Author

Dr. P.B. Rathod was born on May 3, 1958 and obtained M.A. (Political Science), Ph.D. (Development Administration), degrees from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. He was awarded ‘Associateship’ from the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla on May 2005. He is teaching in the Dept. of Political Science, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga last from 17 years.

To his credit, he has published 52 research papers/articles in leading National Journals and 15 books. He has participated in UGC sponsored Seminars and UGC Conferences and presented the papers. He is a life member of the IIPA, New Delhi and also attended its two days on ‘Developments in Public Administration’ in 1991. Further, he is successfully guiding the Ph.D. students of the Dept. of Women Studies, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. He is widely known for his erudiation and academic excellence.
