About the Author

Debra Trigg Conrad is a respected marketing and advertising specialist, business owner, entrepreneur, mentor, and business coach. She has also logged over 12 years of experience as a professional artist and painting instructor.

But perhaps the moniker she’s most proud of is being an ‘untraditional’ western historian, having authored Yuma Mesa Homesteaders 1948 and 1952 by personal request of the Yuma Historical Society.

Debra comes by her interest in western history and genealogy naturally, having traveled extensively through western North America growing up.

Her personal experience researching unusual resources, both online and offline, have given her a rare glimpse into additional ways to unearth sometimes the most hidden bits of family history.

Debra’s love of seeing history preserved, combined with her experience on behalf of the Yuma Historical Society, has led her to provide this easy-to-follow treasure map of new resources.

Debra resides in her hometown of Yuma, Arizona with her husband and dogs, and she enjoys frequent travels to Mexico and Italy.
