About the Author

Adijah and Atiya Brabham, identical twin sisters, are accomplished educators, philanthropists and now with the publication of their first book, authors. They grew up in Queens New York with their parents and younger sister. As young children, they often wrote and performed short stories. Many of the ideas for their writing stem from their childhood experiences. Although, Adijah and Atiya have many individual accomplishments in the field of education, they enjoy working together on other professional pursuits. They, co-wrote "Different and the Same", co-founded children's book publishing company PrairieClover and co-founded the nonprofit IINSPIRETOO, which connects people in underserved communities to the resources they need through community outreach programs, collaborations with community leaders and other nonprofits. They are also active members of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Adijah is a yoga and an animal lover. Atiya is an avid reader and nature enthusiast. Currently, they reside in New York City with their families.
Patrick Girouard is an illustator who has illustrated over 200 children's book.
