Overview

Especially in his early years, Franz Kafka drew intensively and with artistic ambitions. Upon his death, however, he not only wanted to destroy his literary legacy, but also all his drawings. After his friend Max Brod managed to save many pieces of art, most of them remained hidden for decades. Here they are published for the first time to discover Kafka beyond his role as a great writer.
