Overview

Diamond BeeKeepers Presentation

Diamond BeeKeepers is an experimental collection of poems that explores the ritualization of spontaneity. It tests the limits of logic and assonance to find the transcendental meaning behind sound forming, at least seeking a new meaning, deeper than the preestablished notions of the daily use of words. Unleashing, thus, a new experience of language through the poetic apparatus

About the Author

Mario L.  Amehou, the author is a writer of poetry, afrofuturistic science fiction, anthropology and sociological essays on our modern culture, and how the humanities interwoven through the Digital Age and its particular protocols with a whole construct of creative phenomena and aesthetic events to create a reality that is to be made.

Digitalia has opened a new space and a newer era. We in less than 2 decades have become full-blown citizens of the 6 th Continent; the Cyberspace.

The Author in his science fiction worldmaking sees the opportunity to transport to the dashing newest reality to the more ancient and vice versa go create in an alternate universe a miscegenation of the genres, the human race and otherworldy species, to create a texture of credible reality where the eerie meets the philosophical, the surprise of awe-inspiring conundrums, a neuter non-polarized space to provoke new angles to better foresee a new future and better understand our past, etc.

The classicism of Romantic Victorian poetry, Keats, Byron, Gabriel Rosetti, the Raphaelites, the Classics such as Hardy, Shakespeare, Seamus Heaney, W. H. Auden, William Blake, Dambudzo Marechera are some of his all-time interests.

In science fiction, Philip K Dick, A. E. Van Vogt, Octavia Butler, Frank Herbert and Ursula K Le Guin are references of particular delight to the Author
