Overview

Devil Horse is the story of a pure black, wild colt who becomes more than a killer. He becomes a premeditating murderer. He terrorizes a small town and a large territory in the Black Hills. The men who hunt the black stallion, Sheriff Big Mike Morgan, trainer John Keith, and Lakota Indian Cripple Leg battle to know whether this is a horse gone bad or ��waka sika�� a devil. Their battle makes for an explosive ending that leaves both the characters and the readers wondering if the devil was actually in the horse or if it was simply pure evil.
