Kazan Helicopter Plant, the manufacturer of the Mi –series helicopters got itself registered as a joint stock company. The civil aviation regulator of Russia issued the Type Certificate of the Mi 172 helicopter to Kazan Helicopter Plant for civil use. From India, the operators bought the Mi 172 helicopters to operate over land and in offshore role. However, the civil aviation regulator of India issued an airworthiness circular that the designers of the Mi 172 helicopter will service the aircraft. The designers of the Mi 172 helicopter began servicing the Mi 172 helicopters and one of the operators killed twenty seven Indians at Mumbai High in the Arabian Sea. Another operator killed nineteen Indians at Tawang Arunachal Pradesh. Indian Air Force bought its first Mi –series helicopter manufactured by Kazan Helicopter Plant in the year 1964. It has purchased around one hundred seventy eight numbers of Mi 17V5 helicopters manufactured in the Kazan Helicopter Plant, but during the Soviet Union days. Equal number of Mi –series helicopters were lying idle in Kazakhstan. A Kazakh was appointed as the General Director of Kazan Helicopter Plant and the aircraft were refurbished. Indian Air Force cannot distinguish between old and the new. The designers of the Mi 17V5 helicopter service them and the Indians are killed at frequent intervals. On 08 December 2021, the Indian Air Force has killed its Chief of the Defense Staff, his wife, a brigadier and ten defense personnel in a Mi 17V5 helicopter crash at Nilgiris Tamil Nadu. The assembly line of the MiG Manufacturing Plant was closed in the year 1985. After the birth of Russia, the country of origin of the MiG fighter aircraft changed. Military Aviation Regulator of Russia may have had issued the updated Type Certificate of the MiG fighter aircraft. Indian Air Force says that the designers of the MiG fighter aircraft provide service life extensions. But, this is criminal and commercial fraud. MiG Manufacturing Plant of Russia has neither trained nor examined or rated the skill of the pilots. Therefore, the Indian MiG pilots are victims of the designer of fighter aircraft. Indian Air Force has killed its more than two hundred MiG pilots during peace. There must be an end to the carnage by Indian military and civil aviation operators. Russia is no more a market economy state. The country is governed by presidential decrees. Russian Aircraft Corporation and Russian Helicopter Corporation have been formed. But, the Indian Air Force has nothing to do with holding companies. Indian Air Force may not resolve the problem on its own and the level has to be raised. Either MiG Manufacturing Plant, Sukhoi Manufacturing Plant and Kazan Helicopter Plant offer commercial guarantee of safe operation throughout their service lives or the Indian Air Force shall not buy any armament of the Russian origin.

Birendranath Upadhyay (75 years) was born in village Sagarpali district Ballia state Uttar Pradesh in India. He passed his Higher Secondary School Examinations from D A V High School Asansol West Bengal. He is an Electrical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur Jharkhand. He holds additional academic qualifications in Industrial Engineering and Business Management. Designer of Fighter Aircraft is the only e-book authored by him.
