Please note: we aim to provide the most comprehensive author collections available to eReaders. Sadly, it's not possible to guarantee an absolutely 'complete' works, due to copyright restrictions on minor novels Alcott published under another name, which will not be available for many years. Apart from these texts, this eBook is missing some rare magazine articles, parts of LULU'S LIBRARY III and a few obscure poems. Once these texts become available, they will be added to this collection. We are dedicated to developing and enhancing our eBooks, which are free as updates for customers who have already purchased them.

About the Author

About The Author

Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888) was an American novelist and poet best known as the author of the novel Little Women and its sequels Little Men and Jo's Boys. Raised by her transcendentalist parents, she grew up among many of the well-known intellectuals of the day such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Henry David Thoreau. Little Women is loosely based on Alcott's childhood experiences with her three sisters.
