December 25 is the Birthday of Jesus
This is a re-evaluation of the problem of the year and date of birth Jesus and the celebration of Christmas. Using only the Scriptural data and direct reading of the gospels we can arrive at the date of birth of Jesus as somewhere near December 25 with various small possible errors due to chances of pregnancy and birth. This date was indeed so arrived by early fathers and we have evidence for such celebration as far away as 200 AD. There is absolutley no historical evidence that this date was ever part of other Roman god festival. In fact it may be the other way round
