Overview

A collection of fond childhood memories growing up in a single parent household with my mother. This book is so dear to my heart because I want to honor my mother. While working on this book, I couldn't stop thinking about what her reaction would be. I would pray to God that I would be able to finish it and place it in her hands. There are not enough words to describe my mother and the love she continues to give me. I remember always watching her, admiring her and witnessing her working hard to provide for me. She worked full time and still had enough energy in the home to cook, clean, protect, love, play, and nurture me. My first book, The Story of Betty Ann Brown the Cleanest Woman in Town was about her mother. I'm so appreciative and thankful to everyone who purchased it, now I present to you my second children's book Sweet Mother Darlene. I'm so excited about this book and I'm hoping it will touch the hearts of all ages. This one is for you Mom!
