GARY REED has written Deadworld for nearly two decades and along the way he has written and created a number of memorable comic series including Saint Germaine, Renfield, Red Dairies, and of course, his Harvey Awards nominated, Baker Street. He has had books published by Penguin, Image, IDW, Simon and Schuster, Actionoplis, and of course, Caliber Comics, a company he founded in 1988. His Deadworld series have been nominated for numerous awards including Comic Monsters, Horror Net, Shel Dorf Awards, and has won three Ghastly Awards for the "Best in Horror" annual awards in the mini-series and original graphic novel categories. When not writing, Gary was an Adjunct Professor of Biology at a college in Ann Arbor, MI, until his passing in October 2016.
VINCE LOCKE was the original Deadworld artist and has also worked with Gary Reed on The Plague and Saint Germaine. He has illustrated a number of DC Comics including a long run on Neil Gaiman's Sandman, American Freaks, The Spectre, and Book of Fairies. Vince was also the artist on A History of Violence which was made into the top feature film. Vince's most recent book is True Junction from Top Shelf/IDW and he is well known in the music arena as being the artist on all of the Cannibal Corpses' album/CD covers.
DALIBOR TALAJIC started his U.S. comic career with Desperado Publishing working on Phil Hester's The Atheist and then some short stories with Gary Reed and Fabian Nicieza for Negative Burn before moving over to Deadworld. Afterwards, he illustrated for Boom Studios and Delcourt before joining Marvel Comics on Deadpool. He drew various issues for Marvel including Avengers, Ghost Rider, Hulk, Wolverine, before drawing the miniseries of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. After that, he drew the Dexter series and Secret Wars: Master of Kung Fu and most recent work as the artist on the Red Wolf ongoing series for Marvel Comics.
