Dead Drop
Does the past ever really leave us? Not in Amy Lynch's world.
What starts out to be a well-deserved vacation for Amy - volunteering at an archaeological dig on the outskirts of Paris - turns ugly when the head archaeologist is found dead at the dig-site. A recently uncovered relic from World War II threatens to expose treachery and betrayal from the time of the German Occupation. It endangers the life of anybody bold enough to delve into its significance.
New England Casualty and Indemnity, the insurance company where Amy works as a claims investigator, is insuring the dig. Amy's world turns upside-down as she reverts from vacation mode to conduct a full-blown investigation. She meets with obstacles, resistance and threats to her own safety - as well as an adorable Frech detective - in her quest to unmask a traitor.

About the Author

Like her heroine Amy Lynch, P.K. (Paula) Norton spent her career in the insurance industry. When she and her late husband Jack traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad, they entertained themselves by sitting in restaurants discussing interesting ways to kill people. As they plotted all manner of mysterious deaths and mayhem, the world of Amy Lynch was born. Paula’s passions also become an integral part of her series—interests such as archeology (Paula has lived in Paris and once worked at the archaeological dig described in Dead Drop), spies (Paula was a card carrying member of The Association of Former Intelligence Officers), Paris, Key West and fencing. The Amy Lynch Investigation series currently in the works will consist of at least four books, perhaps more. It takes Amy to Key West, Paris, Cape Cod and beyond.
When she is not plotting and writing, Paula is, well, plotting and writing. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, the Cape Cod Writers’ Association and the Rhode Island Authors Association.
Paula resides in Easton, MA.
