When Roy Bauchman was told by the doctors that his wife, Wendy, only had twelve to twenty four hours to live all of his emotional defenses came into play . He was transformed from the steadfast, faithful husband that Wendy had known to a man that questioned his faith in God. He became emotionally vunerable and found himself attracted to one of the employees that worked at the hospital where his wife was being cared for.
