About the Author

Landry Q. Walker lives in El Sobrante, California, and has been making stories happen for over twenty years. His work includes several Star Wars™ novellas, a New York Times bestselling collaboration with Dean Koontz called House of Odd, and the beloved comic book series Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade for DC Comics. He also co-created the comic book Little Gloomy, which now airs internationally as the animated TV show Scary Larry.

The recent Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot has established a new audience of admirers for the DC Comics superhero. Walker (with Dean Koontz, House of Odd; "Supergirl") offers a comprehensive history that features large, bright, and eye-catching illustrations, with just enough text to identify key players and explain plot and time lines. The illustrations take Diana of Themyscira from her 1941 introduction to the present. Suitable for all ages, although illustrations are never lacking in the va-va-voom factor. VERDICT Strikingly browsable and lots of fun.
