Overview

Loss and change lace our lives. Our reactions often destabilize or derail us. Both Chuck and I know loss and change. Thirty-one former dogs and places of residence are just some of the examples from our lives. Strangely, these events have spurred within us the motivation to write a practical, engaging and inspiring devotional book. I often squirmed in family devotions. The Bible was good, the prayers were sincere and the songs were great but...something was lacking. Dialogue and interaction were scarce. Our book is different. Our disclosures compel the reader to share and interact about his or her own life experience. Our book invites you to ponder and to reflect upon your own life's journey as we challenge you by asking some hard questions. At the center of our book is the person of Jesus Christ who has made meaning for us from compounded losses and far too many changes. Enjoy our work. Dawg Gone... Movin' On! will bless your life! Chaplain (COL)-R Harold T. Carlson
