About the Author

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Nicole received her first two degrees from Carroll University in Communications and Theatre. Quickly realizing these professions wouldn’t pay the bills, she pursued another dream of joining the military where she enlisted in the Army as a combat medic.

From there, she became a flight medic, nurse, and now working towards her DNP license. She’s been to Haiti, Virgin Islands, Saudi Arabia, and numerous states for military training and deployment. Through the years, she worked at the VA, on a transplant team, hospice, LTAC, and float nursing.

She is also active in the community raising funds for Operation Gratitude towards sending care packages to Service Members deployed overseas, crocheting lap blankets for seniors in nursing homes and numerous other organizations needing help and donations.

Nicole is married to a man that is way too nice to her and they have two rescue cats, Smash Face and Sir Charles Rupert. She has written three books so far with many more to come.
