Overview

Eugenics and propaganda are the way of the world. Each race sees themselves as superior. Anyone found deviant from the moral normality is locked away in asylums. Their status as human removed, they are called Almost. Except for those few chosen to become Icarus contestants. These children must fight to become defined as human. Colby grew up normal, until he was discovered to be homosexual. His parents betrayed him by giving him away to an asylum. He is dehumanized and falls into an emotional black hole. That is until he meets Dylan and becomes an Icarus. Through all the adversity he faces, he discovers that the moral majorities definition of him is wrong. He explores his own humanity, finding his way to discover his own identity.
