About the Author

A Christian mother and firm believer in Jesus Christ. Megan Zimick struggled with hardships being a domestic violence survivor who has a lifelong stalking order in place for her protection. She is also a philanthropist and spends time in her community volunteering during the holidays. As someone with the extensive abuse in her background she struggled with PTSD in ways writing became a way for her to heal. Finding her voice after so many years of abuse of all kinds behind closed doors suffering at the hands of others in ways no one else ever should, she began to share her story with others, and this is a part of it. She is already a two time Best Selling Published Author, of an anthology called "The Successful Women's Mindset", and "New Light" and has a previous Poetry Book called "Be My Dark Valentine". She was born in Newport, Oregon and resides in the Evergreen state of Washington in a small town known as Cathlamet, Washington with her only child, Decklen Zimick.
