About the Author

Michele was adopted and grew up in Washington State. While raising her two girls, she worked her way through college and graduate school working for a housekeeping service. She has spent many years in social services as social worker, crisis worker, counselor and case manager. Her first intrest has always been helping people to live better lives and become all that they can be. She was remarried later in life and lives with her husband in a small town in Washington- I never give up on a goal once it's set in my mind.

Michele's educational background is BA in Psychology, MA in Education and an MED in Counseling Psychology. Education focused on applied principles with a diverse theoretical approach. Dark Passage is well written and unique, with haunting characters with so much depth, you feel like you've known them all your life. It tells of the struggles of trying to find out who you really are and where you belong in this world. I began to like how the author uses different POVs. It was easier to get into each character's head, and it made me fall in love with them even more.A tale of tragedy, loss, and dark creatures, Dark Passage is an edge of your seat kind of tale.

I recieved this book for review but that has in no way effected my opinion.
I really enjoyed this book it pulled me in from the very beginning and didn't let me go. I thought the characters were well developed also. I will certainly be reading more from this series as well as this author.

The story was so very interesting to read. Very fast paced and the different POV's was so enthralling. I felt like I actually got to know each of the characters on a personal level. The story was so unique and original. I was expecting the typical ghost story and this definitely is not. The story is very compelling and at times creepy.I enjoyed reading this story so much. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I first started reading. Written in what I would call a revolving first person POV, Dark Passage gives you a look at a group of people, some on the side of good, some on the side of evil, and the role each plays in the outcome of mankind from the end of days as we know it. With so many "main" characters, you wouldn't expect the characters to be so well written. Instead, each character is very well developed and you care what happens to every one of them.
