About the Author

Claudia Newcorn is an award-winning author. She is a freelance writer, a published poet, and a popular newspaper community columnist. Her first award-winning fantasy fiction adventure, Crossover, was published in 2007 (2008 Literary Awards winner) and has been optioned for screen rights. Her second, Dark Fire, was released in December 2009, and won a silver medal in Sci Fi/Fantasy from the 2010 Written Arts Awards literary contest. A former private helicopter pilot, Claudia has lived around the world, collects antique fairy tale books, attempts to garden, and is passionate about health & wellness, hiking, animals, and the environment.
