Dandy Day
Dandy Day is a thirty-five year old free-spirited, commitment-phobic, Venice Boardwalk roller skating waitress. When Dandy is suddenly dumped by her therapist, right when they were on the brink of figuring out why her relationships last only a whopping three months, Dandy decides to take her relationship issues into her own hands. With the reluctant help of her lifelong best friend, Simon, Dandy tracks down her exes one by one and does a relationship autopsy on each of them in order to get to the bottom of her relationship challenged life.
A short novel about love, friendship and grown-ups, growing up.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT DANDY DAY:
Meeting Annie Wood's, DANDY DAY, gives you that spark you feel when you bump into someone awkwardly charming, surprisingly witty, and so improbably original & positive, it's as if somehow they're more brightly alive than everyone around them.
Clever, funny and real.
DANDY DAY is a surprising, fun, laugh-out-loud Romantic Comedy. The quirky writing in Dandy Day is a perfect literary escape.

About the Author

Annie Wood is a Hollywood native, lifelong actress and writer. She's an award winning playwright with a hit web-series that she created, wrote and stars in, "Karma's a B*tch." Karma has over 1.7 million views and was Best of the Web on Virgin America. Season 2 is co-written with veteran TV writer, David Schladweiler, and will shoot in 2014.

As an actress, you may have seen Annie in the Dane Cook/Jessica Alba film, "Good Luck Chuck" and in the Nick Cassavetes film "My Sister's Keeper." She recurred on Ted Danson's sitcom, "Becker" and was the co-producer and host of the nationally syndicated dating game show, "BZZZ!" She was also a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

Annie's comedic scene, "That's How They Get You", was part of the NBC/UNIVERSAL diversity showcase and her short film, "Numbers" was an official selection of the Lady Filmmaker's Festival. She is on the Women's Committee at the Writer's Guild of America West. Annie is committed to telling stories that have plenty of humor and heart.

Also, she can juggle three oranges for about four seconds and spider monkeys creep her out.

Now you know everything.
