I'm Carde Bowens, and I was born and raised in Washington, DC, specifically on the south side in Woodland. I now live in Richmond, Virginia. Throughout my career, I worked as an executive protection specialist and a maintenance supervisor, specializing in house renovations. However, in my retirement, I discovered a newfound passion for writing and painting. Inspired by my wife's frequent travels around the world, I began
writing captivating short bedtime stories just for her. I wanted to provide her with something engaging to read during her airport layovers, flights, train rides, or while resting in the hotel bed.
